The Australian Copyright Council is an independent, non-profit organisation that represents the peak bodies for professional artists and content creators working in Australia’s creative industries and Australia’s major copyright collecting societies.
The Australian Songwriters Association is a national, non-profit, member organisation dedicated to the support of songwriters and their art, through providing avenues for encouragement and education of developing Australian songwriters, and recognition and promotion of our accomplished members.

The Australia Council for the Arts is the Australian Government’s arts funding and advisory body. The Australia Council support Australia’s arts through funding, strengthening and developing the arts sector.
AIR is a non profit, non government association dedicated to supporting the growth and development of Australia’s independent recording sector. AIR represents Australian owned record labels and independent artists based in Australia.
AMIN exists to bring together and represent its members, the state and territory music industry associations, and by doing so create a strong network that provides a national platform for the contemporary music industry in Australia.
AMPAL represents Australian and New Zealand music publishers and works on behalf of its members to promote a better understanding of the value of music, both culturally and economically.
AMRAP is a community radio initiative that distributes and promotes contemporary Australian music to community radio stations nationwide.
APRA|AMCOS license organisations to play, perform, copy, record or make available its members’ music, with royalties distributed to its members. APRA|AMCOS advocate on behalf of music creator’s rights and the Australasian music industry locally, nationally and internationally.
Arts Law is Australia’s independent national community legal centre for the arts, a not-for-profit company limited by guarantee. It provides free or low cost specialised legal advice, education and resources to Australian artists and arts organisations.
CBAA is the national peak body for community radio stations. The CBAA provides leadership and support for our members to facilitate independent broadcasting services and to build and strengthen local communities.
Country Music Australia (CMAA)
CMAA recognises and promotes excellence in Australian Country Music and represents all aspects of the Australian country music industry.
MCA, independently and in partnership, gathers and provides information, conducts research, undertakes advocacy, ensures representation in relevant forums, and initiates and realises projects that advance musical life throughout Australia.
The Ministry for the Arts is the Australian Government’s arts and culture policy body that delivers programs and policies that encourage excellence in art, support for cultural heritage and public access to arts and culture. The Ministry for the Arts is part of the Attorney-General’s Department.
PPCA is a national, non government, non-profit organisation that represents the interest of record companies and Australian recording artists.
Sounds Australia is Australia’s music market development initiative, established to provide a cohesive and strategic platform to assist the Australian music industry access domestic and international business opportunities. Sounds Australia is a joint initiative of the Australia Council and APRA|AMCOS, supported by the Federal Government together with state government agencies and peak industry associations.
Support Act is a hardship fund for career musicians, and those who support them behind the scenes, who have no other means of assistance when illness or injury affects them. It is a music industry benevolent fund and aims to provide timely and effective financial help in cases of genuine hardship.
