 Administration/Artist Management Intern

 Kadence Group is seeking an INTERN in the area of Administration/Artist Management to join our team. Kadence Group is an Artist Management and Services company based in Mackay, Queensland. We are looking for an intern with the potential to move into casual or part-time employment. This is a work from home based position.

This is an unpaid internship –a computer/ phone is supplied. Internship duration is a minimum of 10hrs per week for up to 12 weeks, with the potential for extension. Flexibility will be given around tertiary studies and other work commitments. 

An Administration / Management Internship exists working on all aspects of the day-to-day management of artists. The position has the potential to grow to a part-time position.

The Administrator/Management intern will be required to assist in general administration, touring logistics and budgets, website/social media maintenance and manage merchandise logistics and coordination. The successful candidate will need to be highly organised and analytical with an excellent attention to detail.

 Key responsibilities

Assisting with planning and booking travel and onsite needs for artists and crew around touring and festival dates including data entry into tour management software

Assist with maintaining files, Dropbox assets, recordings, photos, artworks, artist PR and archive databases.

 Assisting with regularly updating band and company websites, mailing databases, social media and platforms such as BandsinTown, Songkick and streaming services (Spotify, Apple Music, Shazam etc.).

 Assist with merchandise logistics/coordination of online stores, touring and stock levels.

 Skills Required

Excellent office administration and data entry skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, in particular the ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with artists, promoters, publicists and other music industry participants.

Excellent Apple Mac, Excel, Dropbox and word processing skills with a knowledge of online music streaming platforms.

Excellent understanding of, and the ability to use all social media platforms and online platforms for websites and databases.

Pride in doing your job well and executing plans as part of a team working towards common goals.

 An ability to work independently, monitor progress, and complete specific tasks over extended time periods.

 The ability to manage your time and competing priorities to meet short deadlines.
